Waireka Apartment

Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. Spa Pool operates from 10am to 10pm Cleaning on departure is included in the rate. For the benefit of fellow Guests we request quiet time after 10.30pm Special Rates Ask us about our special rates for a stay of 2 nights or more. The Last Church in Apiti

The Last Church in Āpiti is the ultimate escape to relax and discover the stunning Manawatū. In 2021, we were recognised by the NZ Herald as one of the top wellness retreats to visit. Located in the quaint village of Āpiti, set in a valley at the base of the Ruahine Ranges, this renovated Sunday School is a cosy and quirky base to explore the ranges, glow worms, swimming holes, and more. We have a roaring wood burner fire and an outdoor cast iron bath tub for you to enjoy.

Jailhouse Ridge - Private Spa Pool & 7 Acres

Jailhouse Ridge is a fully self-contained unit with its own private access, ideal for couples. It is surrounded with 7 acres of gardens, ponds & paddocks. Your own private spa awaits you on the deck & is serviced daily. With a Queen bed, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite & log fire, it has everything you need for a fantastic stay. The mezzanine floor, accessed by a steep staircase, has a sofa, 42" TV , Freeview, DVD, WIFI. An extra 32" TV with Chrome-cast is downstairs.

Our eco-friendly 3-bedroom house (built 2013) is nestled on 10 private acres of regenerating native bush just 7 minutes from Waimarino/National Park Village. Ideal for the Tongariro Crossing, skiing, mountain biking or bushwalking. This new home is the ideal place to relax after a day skiing, hiking or biking. There are 2 living areas that share a double sided gas fire. Perfect for apres ski or a romantic evening in. Enjoy the sunset from the front deck or the fully fenced outdoor area with BBQ, seating and loungers. Relax and enjoy the view of the mountain from the hot tub. The Mangawhero River and cycle way are a 1 minute walk.

Welcome to the Tī kōuka House! This warm, serene, spacious home is located in a quiet, friendly Ohakune neighborhood with stunning views of Mount Ruapehu. Like the local cabbage palm that it’s named after, this home is beautiful and accommodating in both the winter and summer months. In the warmer months, you’ll love exploring the bush trails and stunning mountain biking paths.

The Barn @ Wood Pigeon Lodge with hot tub

The Barn is a converted barn on four levels. The interiors are woody, rustic and warm with local historical artefacts decorating the walls. It is set in a peaceful, rural environment, nestled next to bush and looking out to grassy paddocks. Our wood-fired hot tub is available for your private use. Note you may have to heat this yourself, it takes about a couple of hours.
