Te Piringa (The Haven)

Te Piringa (The Haven) is set in 10 acres of native bush offering a well appointed 4 bedrm house & large deck with spectacular views of Whangarei Harbour. Close to beautiful walks & beaches, a 5 minute drive to Parua Bay village, 30 minutes from the CBD & within easy reach of Tutukaka Coast and Bay of Islands. Te Piringa Nui sleeps 8 and is the perfect weekend getaway or holiday retreat. The 4th bdrm is a downstairs suite with bathroom & kitchenette available for bookings of 5 adults or more.

Ganeden Eco Retreat is set overlooking valleys of native bush and pasture. Ganeden relies solely on solar power generation and is earth friendly. This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children.

The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

Fishmeister Lodge

This modern guesthouse with a 5 metre stud has a large mezzanine bedroom with a super king bed and two singles, open plan living/dining/kitchen area with extensive decks and concrete floors throughout. Features include spa pool, fireplace, indoor/outdoor dining areas, set on a 1 acre property. 2 minutes drive to market, restaurants and takeaways, including the iconic Mangawhai Tavern. 10-15 minutes drive to your choice of white-sand surf beaches and world class golf courses.

This family house is located directly on the harbourside boasting wraparound decks offering amazing views of McLeod Bay, Mount Manaia, and Mount Albury. There are 4 bedrooms : three inside the house with a large bathroom, and a private cabin off the deck with it's own ensuite bathroom and private garden deck overlooking the bay. Living rooms are large and beautifully decorated to a relaxed resort-style atmosphere, opening out onto the massive wraparound deck.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Staffa Bay Iconic 70's Treehouse

Perched above Staffa Bay on the stunning Tutukaka Coast, this 1970s Warwick Lee–designed home is a true Kiwi bach — full of character, cosy, and surrounded by native bush with sweeping views over Woolleys Bay. Nestled among nikau palms and birdlife, this peaceful treehouse-style retreat offers direct beach access via a private track (just 25 metres from the house to the sand). The magical Whale Bay Reserve is also just a 5-minute walk away.

Relax on the Kaipara Harbour

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
