Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Welcome to The Barn - a stunning conversion of our historic dairy barn. Featuring vaulted ceilings and built from Exmoor stone, it has plenty of character, whilst still having all the amenities required for your time away. Tucked away in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Barn is an ideal location to explore Exmoor National Park. We are happy to accept one well trained, medium sized (e.g. labrador) dog, but please keep them off the furniture and do not leave them unattended.

Facilities include: shared indoor heated pool and garden/BBQ area. Central Exmoor location and close to towns, lots of picturesque local villages, and local attractions. A few steps take you to the Rest and be Thankful coaching inn, loved by locals and visitors, it is renowned for its Sunday carvery. There is also a petrol station with a supermarket in the village, stocking fresh fruit, vegetables and meat from local farms, it also has an in-house bakery for your fresh baked needs.

An ideal getaway for two in first class, for families there is a bunk bed in the living room area. Dogs at additional cost.
