Nestled in the country on 6 acres, Shady Creek is located between Sparta and Cookeville, TN & surrounded by state parks! Enjoy Cherry Creek from the back deck or enjoy the sounds of our 2 waterfalls from the front porch. Just take the path to the side of our home and walk down to see the waterfalls for yourself. Enjoy all the wildlife (eagles, deer, foxes, turkeys, armadillos) that wander the property or start up the fire pit where you can relax with friends. No smoking inside & no pets allowed.

Welcome to Caney Hills, a beautifully appointed, 60’s era cedar cabin located on the Caney Fork River. Caney Hills is the ideal waterfront retreat, nestled within 10 wooded acres on 550 feet of water frontage. This unique property is very private, offering a variety of on-site amenities with convenient access to grocery stores, coffice cream shops, public boat ramp, guided fishing, hiking, waterfalls, local restaurants, breweries, antique stores, and all located within 10 miles of your driveway.

The main cabin includes two-bedrooms sleeps 6 one bath, full kitchen, living room, dining room. Handicap accessible with wide doors and large shower. This cabin is everything you need for your next vacation! It is located in a quiet rural country area where you can see the stars at night and green pastures in the day. The studio apartment next door is separate.

At the cabin, you can listen to the sounds of nature as you take in the scenic valley views of Big Bottom and the mountain views of Scott’s Gulf State Park.

Located in Sparta, enjoy what this 1-bedroom cabin has to offer. This cabin has one bedroom with a full-sized bed and cozy living room with a sofa bed, along with a full bathroom. The living room has a fireplace, a large Smart TV, pool table, and board games. A large deck shows the gorgeous lake on the property. Ducks live in the pond, visible from the many windows. A paddle boat is provided and fishing encouraged in the lake (supplies not included!) An exterior fire pit is along the lake.

Farm experience in Sparta, TN. Come and enjoy the peace we have found. You can pet the donkeys, feed the fish and enjoy some pizza and wine next door at Northfield Winery. We are located 15 minutes from Burgess Falls State Park and within 30 minutes of numerous other state parks. Whether you want to kayak, hike or just find some peace you can do it on our farm. If you want to visit Nashville, Knoxville and/or Chattanooga we are approximately an hour and a half away from each of them.
