The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Cosy stylish town centre retreat

Apricity Cottage is a perfect place to relax in a calm and beautiful space. The central location provides a great base to explore all that the Artists Town of Kirkcudbright has to offer. This newly refurbished cottage has interiors designed by a local, proffesssional interior designer giving it a cosy, stylish ambiance further enhanced by the log burning stove and luxury furnishings. The south facing cottage gives a light airy feel throughout and has a small outside space for drinks and dining.

The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky!

The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Ivy Bank Studio Creetown - Gem Rocks Neighbour.

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

Mid Bishopton Cottage

Mid Bishopton Cottage offers a quiet, rural environment for a perfect relaxing holiday. The cottage is located on one of our two beef farms, in South West Scotland, just outside the historic town of Whithorn, in the beautiful southern Machars. Our cottage sleeps 4 people, within two spacious bedrooms. A fully enclosed garden is situated on site, suitable for tiny tots and pets of all kinds. This cottage is no distance from local amenities, picturesque walks, local beaches and golf courses.

High Ersock Cottage, Isle of Whithorn

Situated on working coastal farm in peninsula of Galloway, 3 km from Whithorn and its rich history, 3 km from Isle with its quaint harbour, 18km from Wigtown . Central heating, double glazing modern kitchen and very comfortable.2 bedrooms double plus twin beds,and walk in shower. Established garden, bbq area safe shed for bikes. Owner nearby and cleans and advises on places to visit. Pets on approval. No electric car charging allowed at the cottage as wiring and fuses not suitable.

A two bedroom, two hundred year old cottage, Tide View is situated centrally in Scotland's book town, Wigtown. With stunning views over the bay and Galloway hills, you can relax with the whole family or friends. This beautiful area of Galloway has wonderful beaches, scenic hills and forests. A well behaved dog is welcome, the house is fully fenced (1.3m high at lowest point) and there are dog walking areas at the doorstep and a children's play park 50m away.

In summer relax on the patio, In winter curl up with a book or board game and enjoy the stunning views from the cosy interior.

Dog friendly chalet - Isle of Whithorn

Welcome to 4 Laigh Isle, our self catering holiday chalet on the Isle of Whithorn, which welcomes visitors to the beautiful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway. The Isle of Whithorn is the most southerly tip the Machars and of Southern Scotland. Yvette and I bought the chalet in July 2018 after staying in it , loving it and everything about it. We fell in love with the area and its history and beauty It's a fact The Isle of Whithorn is just magic.

The Bothy is a modern self-contained studio adjacent to our home. An old stone bothy converted in 2017, the accommodation offers a private open plan space with it's own entrance, patio garden and parking. Situated on a smallholding looking out to sea in a beautiful region on the Solway coast, secluded beaches and coves are only a 15 minute stroll and the artists town of Kirkcudbright a short drive away. We offer a 15% discount for weekly stays.
