We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. The house is well appointed with a full kitchen, two luxurious queen beds, wifi and a Smart TV. Guests are invited to explore our 20-acre working farm with lots of livestock and two friendly dogs. The suite sleeps 7-8 guests, includes a full kitchen and a romantic jacuzzi jet tub. You’ll love walking to the local coffee shop for a homemade pastry or staying in our dreamy retreat sipping an espresso.

Conveniently located off of HWY 6 in one of the Amana Colonies, a 10 minute drive to shopping and nature trails. Only a 25 minute drive to the University of Iowa and 10 minutes to Williamsburg or Marengo.
