But if you’re seeking quiet, character, and a taste of how things used to be, with a modern twist, welcome to our 1800s-era cabin. Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

Our 1860's log cabin is your perfect location. Close enough to tourist attractions and restaurants, yet away from traffic and distractions. Just 8 miles in the country from historic Georgetown, Kentucky, Kentucky Horse Park and Ark Encounter nearby. First floor bedroom has a queen bed with attached bath with tub and shower. Second floor bedroom with double bed, another second floor bedroom has 2 twin beds, sitting area day bed with trundle underneath. Bath with shower on second floor.

Our 2nd AirBnB cabin on the property has given us the experience to make this one great too! Rural, clean, and peaceful! Our cabin has two bedrooms; one with a queen bed, and the upstairs one with a queen and two twins. It has a full kitchen, full bathroom, fire pit and outdoor grills. Perfect for two couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter and Kentucky Horse Park are 20min away. The Creation Museum is 45min away. A great place to relax between visits to these attractions!

Unwind at this secluded retreat nestled quietly at the end of a wooded country road, along a rolling creek. The cabin was originally two cabins erected in the 1850s. In the 1970s, artist Jim Simon dismantled the log cabins and re-erected them on the Simon Family Farm. Red Fox Ridge was named for the red fox often spotted running the ridge overlooking the river. Three Pines Historic Log Cabin

Three Pines is a rustic log cabin located on 17 acres with a forest view. Originally constructed in the 1790s by a Revolutionary War veteran, it was relocated to the present location in 2011, where it was reimagined with added modern conveniences. The cabin is great for history buffs and those looking for some peace and quiet in a unique setting. The cabin can be rented with our other listing, The Lodge at Three Pines, which provides an additional bedroom, bathroom, and hang out space.

Hike on the trails or throw out a blanket beside a bonfire beneath the stars as your pups run around, enjoying the 2+ fenced in acres. Or drive 10 minutes to Downtown Cincinnati.

Located about 20 minutes from the Ark Encounter, our Gopher Wood Getaway cabin offers a rustic and picturesque place for families to stay near the Ark. Enjoy 500 sq ft of living space inside the cabin that includes a fully equipped kitchen, a bunk room and full bathroom. Our cabin has heating, AC and electric over looking 84 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass. NOTE: Our cabins are truly a GETAWAY as we do NOT have any wi-fi or TV in them. This well-furnished cabin is surrounded by 18 acres of privately owned fields and woods. A wrap-around deck with a hot tub (extra) provides striking views. Hiking trails, fire pit, gas grill, pond, laundry, Direct TV (3), internet, stereo, equipped kitchen and games all make for a fun country stay. Rising Star and Belterra Casinos are closeby, and a park/boat ramp on the Ohio is nearby. Rising Sun and Vevay are short drives, and the Arc and Creation Museum are both within 1 hour.

The Hunter's Hideaway near The Ark Attraction

14x40 finished amish made cabin that sets on a 103 acre tract of land. Cabin is fully furnished with a wood stove, kitchen table, bar area, sink and stove. Full size shower and bathroom. Indoor horse stalls and an outside corral for overnighting animals. Outside fire pit for evening enjoyment. Several miles of trails through open fields and wooded ridges provide riding or hiking adventures. Only a twenty minute ride to The Ark attraction or the Kentucky Horse Park.
