We’re nestled in The Crags, between vineyards, indigenous forests and animal sanctuaries, just 20 mins from Plettenberg Bay’s beaches. Our cottage is where traditional African cob building meets modern wooden comfort. Wake to birdsong and green, rolling hills; enjoy the earthy quiet of the cob or cook up a storm in our fully equipped kitchen. A creative retreat for individuals and couples wanting to recharge in nature, with the comfort of off-grid living on a permaculture, biodynamic homestead.

A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. If you are travelling in a normal car or small SUV please reach out to make alternative arrangements for this last part of your journey.

Ploverfield Farm Cottage

Sleeps 2 adults and there is a sleeper couch for 2 young children. Braai facilities, MWO and fridge. Perfect night or 2 over pit stop. The Crags Superette and restaurant is just 5 minutes away plus take-aways 10minutes away.

Olive Cottage

Leave the world behind and follow a scenic 36km gravel road from Kareedouw into the mountains, where this working sheep and cattle farm rests peacefully in a beautiful valley. The original 1890 homestead cottage is a place to reconnect—with nature, family and each other. Wander along the river, hike to the waterfall, or simply slow down together. As night falls, soak in the hot tub beneath a blanket of stars. A magical escape for families and couples alike.

Blue Gum Suite

Blue Gum Suite is located in the heart of the charming town of Willowmore, offering guests the chance to experience the true essence of the Karoo. Nestled on a street lined with century-old Blue Gum trees, the suite combines peace and convenience. Cloud Cottage

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.

Cosy rustic cottages on a working farm where you can enjoy a braai and relax in a hot tub while enjoying splendid views all around you. Very quiet, private and safe, completely away from any hustle and bustle. This gem is situated just 1,5km out of town in Uniondale along a 300m river bank gravel road easily driveable by any vehicle.

Sleep in a luxurious tent, enjoy the solitude of the lovely fynbos setting of the farm in the wine lands of Plettenberg Bay, close to Nature's Valley and Keurbooms beaches with walks and MTB trails, and many restaurants and activities within easy reach.

Tree House

An authentic adult tree house built into the bows of a growing rooi karee adult tree (rhuslancea). The dwelling is made of a variety of SA wood varieties and shaped around the stem and branches, allowing humans to live functionally within its arms

Suikerbossie Mountain Cabin

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
