Featuring a screened-in porch, gourmet kitchen, and private parking, Bancroft Cottage welcomes family groups as warmly as it does visiting professionals. Despite the peaceful location, the property is very much ‘in town’ — within walking distance of Wilmington’s Trolley Square, the Delaware Art Museum, and a 10-minute drive to the Amtrak station and business district.

Beloved Chateau (with Hot Tub)

The Beloved Chateau is a guest suite in a character house in Adamstown. You will relax in a hot tub, enjoy a comfortable bed with a newly renovated, modern bathroom. The tv is a 55 inch TV with access to your personal streaming accounts. Whether you like to hike, shop for antiques in town, or enjoy a restful evening in, it is perfect for couples searching for a restful overnight stay. The room is fully independent from the rest of our house. It has a private entrance with NO shared space.

Our most budget-friendly option. This is our oldest unit, kept specifically for guests seeking a low-cost stay. If you are looking for crisp and fresh, this is not the place for you. It is a simple, functional apartment on the 1st floor in a historic building—not a luxury renovation. We require government-issued photo ID, sign agreement and a $500 security deposit may be charged at the host's discretion.

Overlooking beautiful pastures, the cottage was formerly the large painting studio of Delaware Valley artist Peter Sculthorpe. The studio has been re-imagined as a peaceful retreat for families, friends and couples.

The Hepburn-Hot Tub & Fire Pit

The Hepburn is a beautifully renovated and decorated by home by Harlow Grey Homes. This meticulously restored glass cabin is located on over an acre of private grounds on a serene 75 acre lake. Firewood included! The separate seven-person hot tub is OPEN for the season. The private pool + built-in spa is closed and is set to reopen mid May 2026
