Trout River Log Cabin

Welcome to Trout River Log Cabin, a rustic 19th century Norwegian-built log house nestled in the rolling hills of Northeast Iowa, just seven miles from downtown Decorah, or three from TG Brewing. The cabin is open seasonally from April to October. Our family farm with its many acres of perennial grass fields, timber, and meandering Trout River is absolutely gorgeous. And while you're at it be sure to check out our other overnight stay, Decorah House, located five blocks from downtown Decorah.

Oak Hill Retreat

Oak Hill Retreat is located just outside Decorah. It is minutes away from the world famous Toppling Goliath Brewery. But there is SO much more to explore in Decorah! Did you know we have 3 waterfalls? This house is the definition of eclectic cozy. I have spent the last 4 years finding the right mix of color and light to give this space its unique personality. Staying here gives you the peace and quiet of the country but you are just minutes from town. Each bedroom has its own private bath.

This is the perfect place for a family of four to six, couples enjoying Decorah’s outdoor recreation, and guests looking for clean and bright lodging while visiting students at Luther and Decorah’s breweries. #3 LADYBUG LANE is Dog Friendly! The house is just far enough off the main streets for you to enjoy a quiet stay, and close enough to easily access everything Decorah has to offer.

Glenwood Getaway

1860's log cabin, remodeled into a modern house. Located 8 miles east of Decorah on 5 acres of woods. Cell service is weak (Verizon, US Cell) or not available (others). WiFi is available. TV with local BluRay/DVD/VHS only - No TV channel service. Come here to get away. The last mile to the house is a gravel road. Main entry is on the 1st (lowest) floor. One bedroom on the 2nd floor. Two bedrooms on the 3rd floor. There is one bathroom on each floor. Stairs to the 3rd floor are steep.

Cozy Cottage by Leanne and Sue

Cozy house with Farmhouse decor located within a half block of Main Street and Mabes Pizza. Nearby easy access to bike trail/Upper Iowa River. Features a private backyard and garage for your convenience in storing your bikes, kayaks etc... Driveway and street parking available. Additional parking behind property during summer months. Tusen Takk is Norwegian for "a thousand thanks". Our wish for your visit here is for time to relax and remember what you are thankful for and what makes your life good. We are a bright red home located on a side street, just 4 blocks from downtown. We offer 3 bedrooms, large living and dining areas, a sweet patio spot and a fenced in yard. Start up the fire pit and share your stories around the flames. Walk downtown to your favorite coffee place and enjoy this charming town.

Country In The City ~ Fireplace, 3D Massage Chair

Nestled just on the edge of town on College Drive, this inviting home has the character of a country cabin, but gives you quick access to town. The park-like landscaping in the backyard is not only picturesque, but gives you a peaceful retreat from your backdoor. Children will enjoy the tire swing playset and teepee, but the firepit and the pond with fountain will be a favorite for the adults in the group. Entire 3 bedroom near Trout run trail w/EV charger Peaceful 3 bedroom 2 bath home is perfect for big families or multiple families traveling together. The home is a raised ranch which features a lower level living area with a king bedroom and a pull out queen couch in the family room. Upstairs features large living room, kitchen, two bedrooms with Queen beds and queen pullout couch. The home is located less than .25 miles from the trail head for the Trout Run Trail!

Relax and refresh at Rustic Acres Homestead & Springs. Rustic Acres was family built and is family run. This is a great place to get away and connect with family, nature, and friends. You'll get peace and quiet at Rustic Acres, but we aren't far from local attractions! We are located about two miles north of Seed Savers, three miles from Winneshiek Wildberry Winery, seven miles from Luther College, nine miles from downtown Decorah, and 13 miles from Toppling Goliath.

This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.
