This beautiful cottage is over 100 years old , in the same family for 80 years which is where the name Stanton is from,so I thought only fitting to name it after them. Beautifully renovated with all original features of a double brick home . Feel at home with all the comforts required during your stay. With a fully equipped kitchen including coffee machine and a variety of Teas ,Fully enclosed yard with hills hoist and cottage garden. Open plan living and dining,Formal lounge to relax , sit back and enjoy complimentary Netflix &WIFI,3 bedrooms one with Queen bed, 1 with Double and 1 with 2 singles that can be made into a double . All with Beautiful warm linen and throws to keep you warm and snug on a winters night. Large Walk-in shower, Beautiful deep claw foot bath to relax in. Bright and open house on a quiet street in beautiful Beechworth. Less than 10 minute walk to the centre of Beechworth and Lake Sambell. Plenty of parks, hikes and bike trails at your door step. Peaceful outdoor seating overlooking garden where you can drink your morning coffee and listen to birds singing. Secure yard for doggos. The house comfortably sleeps 4 people however I have a sofa bed that can sleep another two if required. Please note the house is lived in part of the year by me 😊

This cottage, named Alice Harding after the well known peony cultivar, is set amongst an established garden with oaks, Japanese maples, liquid ambers, claret ash and tulip trees. The setting provides a great place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying all that this area has to offer.
