Relax in the natural beauty and peaceful environment of this quaint cabin overlooking the upper Caddo River, bordering the Ouachita National Forest near Norman, AR and Lake Ouachita. Close by activities include nearby Lake access and marinas around Mt. Ida, crystal digging, Forest access for hiking, biking, ATV riding and canoeing along the Caddo River at nearby Caddo Gap and Glenwood, among many other activities and amenities in the popular tourist areas including Hot Springs National Park.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Mena in a beautiful golf course community. It sits nestled in the trees with a beautiful view overlooking the secluded 14 acres. Enjoy fishing or kayaking on Prairie Creek. Trailer your SxS to the trails or ride from the cabin. It is about a 15 minute drive by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We provide a map that shows the route we take from the cabin. Come enjoy the peace and beauty Mena offers.

Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. Cool Ridge Cabin

Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table.

The WOLF PEN GAP trailhead is less that 1/2 mile away, ride directly to trails from the cabin, no trailering needed. Unwind in the hot tube, gather around the firepit, or cook the BBQ pit. Scenic day trips and local shopping await!

Lost Cabin at the Creek

This beautiful property is called The Lost Cabin at the Creek because it is an excellent place to disconnect, escape and relax. The creek provides great opportunities for fishing, swimming, exploring, viewing wildlife, and generally enjoying the outdoors. The cabin was constructed in 2013 and provides two bedrooms, a sleeping loft, bathroom with shower, well-equipped kitchen, gas log fireplace, screened-in back porch, hot tub, charcoal grill, fire pit, and all the amenities necessary.

Located on 450 acres in Hatfield, AR, Wild Thing Hideaway offers a peaceful retreat with beautiful views of the Ouachita Mountains.
