The studio touts exposed wooden trusses, contemporary furnishings, polished cement flooring, fully serviced kitchen, modern bathroom and a wood fired heater (firewood provided).

Manuka Getaway with gourmet breakfast & log fire

Set in almost a rain forest among beautiful gardens with an abundance of wildlife. You are a 5 minute walk to McCarthys Lookout and a 5 minute drive from Mary Cairncross Reserve. 5 minutes in the other direction to Maleny Village with the wonderful shops and cafes. Parking is under cover and next to the cabin through automatic gates. The only sounds you will hear are the birds. Minimum stay is 2 nights, but if you are looking for one night please get in touch. Wave to the cows, and admire the award-winning miniature horses and sheep on the neighbouring farm.

Just a 15 minute scenic drive from Maleny you will find peace and tranquility staying in the self contained garden studio here in our pretty forest setting. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the many varied feathered friends that call this place home in addition to wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, echidnas and even the occasional koala. Some of the more regular visitors being a variety of honeyeaters, yellow robins , king parrots , rainbow lorikeets and fairy wrens.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.
