Hazels Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Hazels Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and ready supply of wood, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated, shower room is close by along a short path adjacent to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs.

The lane is also on a cycle path. You will be surrounded by far reaching views of the countryside with stunning sunsets and sunrises. Outside seating for alfresco dining, a fire pit for those cooler evenings (great for cooking those marshmallows). The hut is fully equipped with all you’ll need.

Our beautiful Shepherds Hut was built with loving care during Lockdown and now provides the perfect warm cosy get-away from the stresses of life. The hut is situated in it's own fruit and vegetable garden within an AONB with views to die for. We provide tea coffee milk cereals juice yogurts and home made bread for breakfast and a few beers. Mickleton village is a 5 minutes walk, has 2 great pubs a butchers and village store as well as the famous Pudding Club. Small dog welcome £15 / stay

Chipping Norton is a hub of activity with a bustling well-stocked bookshop, cafés and restaurants. Positioned at the end of a secluded driveway and accessed via private gates, the hut is conveniently located just a short distance from our residence, allowing us to assist if needed. However, rest assured that the hut maintains its distinct privacy. Adjacent to the hut lies a farmer's field, occasionally visited by tractors and even graced by the presence of deer.

An outdoor fire pit, indoor log burner, hot tub and BBQ, allows year round stays to be enjoyed in this picturesque setting.

It is ideally placed for walking and cycling, exploring nearby attractions or simply relaxing with a book.
