Detached 2 bed cottage in the Forest of Dean

Quiet stone cottage in rural location 200m to the forest surrounding the Wye Valley. The large wrap around garden enjoys views to the East and the North with secluded patio seating area. Great for walking the dogs, mountain biking, canoeing, caving, adventure activities or relaxing in front of the fire. Only 100m from local pub and 20mins ride to the cycle centre. The cottage is a great place to unwind and enjoy the Forest of Dean and also to explore South Wales and surrounding historic towns

The Annex at The Oaks

The Annex is a separate building on two floors. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There is a kingsize bed and a sofa bed available. We do provide extra laundry for the sofa bed at a cost of £15. Please let me know if you require the sofa bed making up. To access the bedroom are external stairs. Downstairs is a great open plan living space. There is private parking. Ross town is a mile away. PLEASE NOTE: the Annexe is next to a busy main road and traffic can be heard from the Annexe.

The Long Barn is a beautifully converted stone barn situated above the Wye Valley, Monmouth with picturesque views over the Black Mountains and beyond. It's an ideal location for relaxing or walking and cycling straight from the door. Well behaved pets are very welcome. The property has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom plus en-suite, kitchen & lounge area and sleeps 7. Other features include oak flooring, log burner, wet room, patio & seating, BBQ & fire pit. Hot tub £/STA. The barn has an EV charger.

It was lovingly restored in 2021 retaining many original features including a log burner, stripped wooden floors and original oak beams. It is located in the small hamlet of Hom Green, 2 miles from Ross-On-Wye which is in the heart of the picturesque Wye Valley. The 136 mile Wye Valley walk passes within a mile of the property which is ideal for you and your dog to explore the hills, limestone gorges and viewpoints.
