Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy both fabulous sunrises, sunsets and views of the mountains that surround you. The Boat House is a newly remodeled studio space. It’s a unique place to stay, located on a private dead end road right on the water with beautiful views it’s 5 minutes from I 81. Perfect for Virginia Tech home sporting events. It’s also perfect for Virginia Tech and Radford University Graduations, weekend or weekly family getaway. You will have access to the dock on the property for fishing and swimming, there is available space at the dock if you have your own watercraft.

Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, families, and working remote.

Mark of Design Farmhouse Retreat

2020 marks the 100-year-old birthday to this charming farmhouse, located on a working horse farm within the town of Hillsville. It has been meticulously redecorated in 2015-16, with an elegantly simple flavor. The peace and quiet of this country setting is unsurpassed. You’ll love watching horses over your morning coffee. The house sleeps 8 and there is table seating for 21, in case family stops by. Ask about the horse whispering experience.
