Comfort and good sleep. It comes with curtains, a reading light, power adapters, a luggage space and a security locker. *We are a smoke-free hostel. All rooms are non-smoking. *Please be noted that for the comfort of other guests we would like to divide your group into smaller ones when assigning your rooms, as we would like to avoid a large group to occupy more than half of the beds in the dormitory room

Each bed is equipped with a power outlet and also fitted with a dedicated light. Moreover, we respect the need for personal space even in a shared environment. Each bed in our dormitory rooms comes with privacy curtains.

This is a newly refurbished modern Japanese style hostel in Kawaguchiko. The Japanese Style Tatami Room (room size 10㎡) has 3 sets of Futon mattress and duvet for the maximum of 3 people. It is located about 10 minutes away on foot from Kawaguchiko station. We provide the following amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hairdryer, clothing hangers, Wi-Fi, laundry machines and car park. The members of staff are also here to help you with any tourist information!

Japanese Private Room with Toilet Max 3 people

This washitsu* has a Japanese low table and zabutons* on tatami* flooring. You sleep on futons* laid on the tatami, and you can sit directly on the tatami or zabutons set on it. Toilet is inside the room. All of our rooms are non-smoking ones. There is no TV in the room. Washitsu*: Japanese style room Zabuton*: Japanese cushion tatami*: Thick straw mats that cover the floor futon*: Traditional Japanese bedding consisting of padded mattresses and pliable quilts.

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
