Welcome to La-de-da! We are located in beautiful, rural Howardsville, Virginia with convenient access to all the recreational amenities the James River has to offer. We are a VERY scenic 35 minutes to Wintergreen, all the wineries, breweries, distilleries and orchards in the region and great hiking trails! We are far enough outside of the cities of Charlottesville and Scottsville to provide peace and quiet, but just a scenic 20 minute drive to Scottsville and 40 minutes to Charlottesville.

A pasture of cattle is not too far away you can hear the mooing at times and see sightings of deer quite often. It’s a private and quiet location. Two large rivers, James and Rivanna offer recreational activities. Rustic cabin, country located. Clean and cozy with a well stocked kitchen with all your cooking needs. This cozy and comfortable home is located within the charming Town of Amherst in a quiet neighborhood very close to Sweet Briar College. It is only a short drive from Lynchburg yet is also convenient to other area attractions, such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Mt. Pleasant Scenic Area, Wintergreen Resort, and an assortment of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, including the Rt. 151 "Brew Ridge Trail."

The Stable

Our guesthouse is located in the historic Tree Streets Neighborhood of Waynesboro, VA, an official Appalachian Trail town, located at the southern end of the Shenandoah National Park. We've aptly named the guesthouse "The Stable" because it was originally built and functioned as a stable. It has since been converted into a cozy cottage for guests.
