Pear Tree Lodge

Pear Tree Lodge has recently undergone a complete renovation. The property is self- contained from the main house with underfloor heating throughout and mid-century decor. There is a pretty garden exclusively for guests .Keys can be left out so guests can let themselves in and maintain their privacy, we will be on hand should you need anything. The property benefits from its own quiet shale driveway with off street parking. The lodge is a 15 minute walk to the beach, town and the train station.

We welcome you to our beautiful home, a stone throw away from the private stunning beach of Seasalter & 30 minute coastal walk into the heart of Whitstable. The Beach Hut has recently been designed for keeping the comfort of our guests in mind, with a luxurious feel that is designed for family & friends to visit with fluid entertaining areas spreading through the kitchen, dining and the outside seating giving a great alfresco feel to the space. We are only a 10 minute drive into Whitstable & Faversham & an approximate 15 minute drive into the historic city of Canterbury. Seasalter & Whitstable Beaches are also just a 10-15 minute drive away. During the week the local bus runs into both Whitstable & Faversham and Taxis are readily available from either town.

The Beach at Whitstable is dog friendly all year round and a two minute walk from our cottage. All bed linen and towels provided.

Cosy coastal hideaway with garden sauna

A quiet, coastal retreat, perfect for an autumn break, with lovely seaside walks and cosy pubs a short stroll away. Treat yourself to a sauna and cold plunge in the garden spa. (This is paid for separately.) Enjoy Whitstable's great restaurants and trendy cafes. And return to the warm comforts of Alba Lodge. It's a double height space, designed for relaxation and with sustainability in mind. Sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

A special place. Direct beach access; wonderful views; spectacular sunsets. Beautifully converted and well equipped. A perfect retreat. A stroll from the Sportsman Restaurant, Oyster Pearl Pub and near lovely Whitstable for shops and restaurants. Perfect in summer with a safe swimming beach meters away and in winter the pleasure of of sea mist, migrating birds and walks on the shore and marshes. Afternoons with a book in front of the fire.
