The Tree Cabin

The heated tree cabin is set within a small secluded wood up a steep path. Cedar lined, insulated and oak clad it cantilevers out over a remote mill pond. Wake up in a tranquil heaven only shared with shy wildlife, including deer, hare, the odd badger and a variety of birds. In the cabin are a king-size plus bed, table and chairs, kitchen area with induction plate, microwave oven & toaster. Your own smaller tree cabin, a few trees away, houses a flushing toilet and hand basin with spring water.

Luxury 3 bedroom lodge for 6 (plus travel cot) with Hot Tub. Located a few minutes drive from Junction 35 of the M6, at Carnforth. The lodge has an open plan living/dining and kitchen area. The living area and all 3 bedrooms have smart TV's with freeview and Netflix. On-site there is a pub / restaurant looking out onto the lake. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-In wardrobe and en-suite shower room. 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds.

The grade 2 listed 'Charlotte Cottage' is the first in the run of former servants cottages. This beautiful limestone built cottage has an open plan kitchen and lounge with glazed door that opens on to a patio with table, chairs and a BBQ. Beyond is Langton halls back lawn which leads to 20 acres of parkland for you to explore at your leisure. Located within our grounds is an idyllic waterfall- perfect for picnics. Dorothy’s place Bowness on Windermere

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Adults only no children allowed. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
