Tiny House - Big Farm Adventure near Pittsburgh

Enjoy an Adventure in "Glamping" at Highland House on Pittsburgher Highland Farm. This custom built Tiny House is situated on over 100 acres of rolling farmland, hills and forests, with Scottish Highland cattle, chickens, sheep & lambs, pigs, fish in the pond, and 2 beehives. You have use of the entire farm during your stay. Located about 45 minutes south-east of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Highlands, there is lots to see and do both on site and nearby. Thelma’s Place

Thelma’s Place is a completely renovated 2 story house, nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It’s just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hour’s drive. Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. Tasty public tap water for drinking and cooking. Private lane leads to the home with a spacious covered porch overlooking hillside and field. Ideal location at foothills of Laurel Highlands and outskirts of Pittsburgh. Town of Mt. Pleasant is just minutes away providing restaurants and shopping.

This space sports it’s own kitchenette and a private bath, perfect for the traveling business person or couples visiting the area while working remote and touring the country. It’s within walking distance to the Latrobe downtown business district, Amtrak Train Station, and Greyhound Bus stop. Perfect for traveling nurses with Excela Health Latrobe Hospital a ten minute walk away.

Glamping Pod

Escape to nature in a cozy glamping pod, offering the ideal mix of comfort and adventure in a peaceful setting. Each pod features a queen-size bed, a mini kitchenette with a coffee maker and microwave, and a dining table for two. Pods are equipped with heating and cooling, electricity, and WiFi. Though there's no bathroom inside, our luxury bathhouse with private stalls is just a short walk away and visible from your pod.

Enjoy a comfortable, clean stay at this centrally-located, newly updated house. House is less than a mile from route 30 to get you to restaurants and shoppes in under 10 minutes. Everything is on one floor including the washer and dryer. House is very close to the hospital as well as Seton Hill University and University of Pittsburgh - Greensburg campus. Note that the bathroom is small with not much space to put your items.

Three miles from the historic town of Ligonier, this home offers all you would need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We're located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, Idlewild Amusment Park and numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking trails. Enjoy fishing steps from the back deck as this home sits along Four Mile Run creek.

Wilderness Hideout

Nested at the top of the Ridge, this apartment has a separate entry through the Walkout basement in a newly remodeled Aframe. Located on 20 acres with walking trails and some wild life. Come down a long driveway to find this hidden gem. You’ll feel at a retreat but yet close to everything. You can bring a well behaved furry friend (cat or dog, pet fee applies). You can work or relax!
