This newly renovated cabin sits on a shared 3-acre property with our family’s lake house. The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches. Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
