About this Space Our cozy Studio Retreat is nestled in the woods on the 2nd floor of our detached garage, 5 min outside the charming village of Bristol. Bristol has several very good restaurants, shops, an art gallery and a library. You'll find hiking, biking trails and swimming. Middlebury is 15 min away and offers art galleries, breweries, a winery, shops, restaurants, hiking, skiing and more. Burlington is 45 min away, Sugarbush & Mad River Glen ski areas are just 30 min away. Lots to do!

Quiet private master suite / loft with views

Private structure, separate from the main house, about 800’ from little travelled paved road. Beautiful rural location on a 13 acre lot looking out on the NY Adirondack mountains with some lake views and often spectacular sunsets. About 5 minutes to NY Crown point state park and the Champlain Bridge Restaurant, 20 minutes to Middlebury college or Vergennes. 55 minutes to the Burlington Airport. Plenty of restaurants in a 20 minute radius. Closest ski area is Middlebury snow bowl ( +- 40 min)

Cozy country guest house

Our guesthouse is nestled in the Lemon Faire River Valley. This 1 bedroom with kitchen, bathroom, and extra sleeping loft gives you a quiet experience of the Vermont countryside. The outside entry deck overlooks over a 1000 acres of open field and farmland. Middlebury is only 3 miles away and offers museums, restaurants, and shopping. This is an active farm: horses, dogs, geese, a duck, and chickens. Please read the house manual as it has lots more information about the house and property.

A 3-minute walk leads you through gardens and pasture, to Ravenwood, a small, intimate cabin with everything you need. Top shelf skiing at Sugarbush is near, along with Vermont's finest grub and beer.

The Barn at Middlebury

The Barn at Middlebury is within a 10 min. walk of the village center and 15 min to Middlebury College. The renovated barn is attached to the owners' residence. The separate guest quarters have a private entrance and include 3 newly renovated bedrooms, with two baths. The 1st floor bedroom has a Livingroom, kitchenette (Nespresso, microwave, Ref/Freezer, dishwasher, sink). Washer/Dryer. The 2 other 2nd Fl bedrooms share a large private bath. A terrace and screened porch is available.

Quaint 1-bedroom cottage on Blue Ledge Farm

This cozy cottage is on Blue Ledge Farm- a working goat dairy. It is a one-bedroom with a double fold-out futon in living room to potentially fit 4 guests. It is within 15 minutes of both Brandon and Middlebury, 1 hour south of Burlington. Pets are allowed, on leash. It can possibly include a farm and cheese tasting for an extra $20 per person (contact host in advance). It is the perfect place if you're an animal or cheese lover looking for a rustic and relaxing stay on a beautiful farm.

A short walk to Middlebury's coffee shops, retail stores, and restaurants. Very close to Middlebury College and just minutes from hiking, biking, skiing, and many other outdoor activities in the mountains and on the shores of Lake Dunmore or Lake Champlain. Perfect for a quiet stay in town or as an adventure home base. Off-street parking for two cars.
