About this space Perched directly on the shores of Lake Dunmore, our lakefront getaway transforms into a four-season escape when the temperatures drop. In autumn, enjoy foliage views over the water, crisp mornings on the deck, and easy drives to Vermont’s most scenic byways. When winter arrives, we’re your basecamp for adventure — just 30 minutes to Middlebury Snow Bowl, 45 minutes to Killington or Sugarbush, and minutes to local snowmobile trails, ice fishing spots, and Middlebury College.

Our place is a 1980's barn/woodshop that never housed animals that has been converted into a lovely three bedroom home.We are 20 minutes from Rikert 2019 hosts of the Bill Koch Festival and the Middlebury College Snow Bowl.The place is light and airy with southern and eastern sun.The main living room has 13 foot ceilings with lots of couches, arm chairs and places to hang out, read and or relax.We are in the heart of the Green Mountains with skiing and colleges, an easy drive from the house.

Completely renovated, AC & heat everywhere, lots of comfy beds, great deck with grill and fire ring, fast WiFi, king bedroom for the parents, fun guest room with 1 queen, 1 full & 1 twin, full bath & 1/2 bath. Walk to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and even the College! Incredibly well designed home can comfortably accommodate a couple or a crowd! Brand new 55" Smart TV, new beds, linens, sofas, etc.

Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

A short walk to Middlebury's coffee shops, retail stores, and restaurants. Very close to Middlebury College and just minutes from hiking, biking, skiing, and many other outdoor activities in the mountains and on the shores of Lake Dunmore or Lake Champlain. Perfect for a quiet stay in town or as an adventure home base. Off-street parking for two cars.

Drive another 15 minutes to Burlington or the Bolton Valley Ski Area. Hiking, biking and cross country skiing trails nearby, or just sit on the porch and enjoy the sounds of the nearby river. Snow tires and front wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicles necessary during the winter months.
