Are there any other rules I should be aware of?
Buildings can set rules for Airbnb hosts and guests. For example, some will set quiet hours. Be sure to read any rules your building provides, and make sure to review any provisions in your lease specifically related to Airbnb. Local regulations may also apply. Your building’s rules and restrictions, as well as local regulations, may change over time. Learn more about rules and restrictions.
What do I do with my belongings when guests are in my apartments?
Up to you! Some Hosts install a lock on a closet or bedroom, or store personal items in a safe. Others store their belongings in a garage or a storage locker. Check in with the building manager to see what options are available.
How will guests access the building/unit if I’m not there?
You decide how you want guests to access your apartment, but just make sure it’s consistent with the building’s policies. Some Hosts meet their guests in-person and provide them with a physical key. Others provide contactless access with codes or use a nearby key exchange locker, depending on what’s available.
Who is responsible for cleaning after my guests leave?
Typically, Hosts are responsible for cleaning, whether they do so themselves or find a cleaner to help. Some buildings have recommendations on cleaning providers for you to choose from.
What's the parking situation for guests?
It depends on the building’s policies or local regulations. Explore your options with the building manager.
