Sonoran Desert Getaway ~ The DoeHawk Creek Cabin

We are minutes to the Historic Ajo Plaza and 5 minutes out to the beautiful Sonoran Desert. We are 30 mins. from Organ Pipe Natl Monument. The view from inside is limited, but sitting outside you have a great view of our spectacular sunrises and sunsets. PLEASE NOTE: if you have stayed with us before in the RV under this name, this is no longer the RV but a new cabin that sits in the same spot. Quiet little desert house

Simple and quiet little house at end of street, walking distance to historical town plaza and minutes from beautiful Sonoran desert. House is well equipped and ready for guests, all you need are groceries for a peaceful getaway to the desert. This is our guest house adjacent to our main house, it's a shared yard with plenty of space for your dog as well. We are a dog friendly property and have quiet dogs of our own who share yard. we have outdoor seating, lighting and fire pit available for use

The plaza has art galleries, a coffee shop, yoga studio, restaurant, gym, library and more. There are local hiking and biking attractions and we are a short drive to Organ Pipe National Monument and the Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge. Nearby is access to BLM land and the start of the famous El Camino de Diablo.

This was an Artists Studio until it took on its new life as a cozy, comfortable and welcoming Casita. It did keep some of its original cheery and colorful attitude, but the overall setting is peaceful and the Sunrises can be glorious. We are within walking distance to the center of town, or a short walk in the opposite direction takes you to a popular desert hiking/biking/driving trail.

Enjoy a unique experience at this centrally-located casita. This 2 bed 1 bath casita is nothing short of rustically adorable and comfy. The front room has a 50” tv where you can enjoy Netflix or YouTube. You can walk to the plaza, restaurants (home is located right by agave grill) Circle-k, gas stations and the dollar store easily.
