Anchorage Family Guesthouse

Our guest space is a 2 BR in-law unit on the downstairs level of our beautiful Alaskan log home. About 20 mins from the Anchorage airport, we are located on the Anchorage Hillside, known for its scenery, great hiking trails (including Flattop Mountain), and fabulous mountain and inlet views. We are minutes from the Old Seward Highway South-bound exit that leads to some of Alaska's best-known tourist hot spots including Girdwood, Seward, and Kenai Peninsula. Family friendly, we welcome children.

Ravenwood Suites

We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. Guests enjoy fast Wi-Fi, convenient laundry access, & the chance to see local wildlife right outside the back door — moose (often with calves), ravens, Steller’s jays, squirrels, & on rare occasions, a bear. We also provide plenty of resources to help you plan your stay.

Log Home's Spacious Lower Level.

This spacious lower level is a daylight basement perfect for groups of eight or families traveling with children. Placed in the middle of two acres the home is surrounded by manicured yards, beautiful mountain peaks, and tall trees. Yard is open for play, or walking, as is the basketball court. Lower patio has chairs for sitting out and enjoying the green therapy of summer. Located 4 miles from Palmer this home and the surrounding yards are spacious, peaceful, beautiful and sure to please.

Ground floor of a home built in 2016.Two bedrooms, full bath, open plan kitchen, dining room and living room. Sleeps up to 6 people in queen bed, two twins and a double sofa bed. Kitchen equipped with coffee & tea supplies, gas stove,oven & refrigerator. Linens and towels provided. Smoke free, dog friendly. Fenced yard is shared with my friendly greyhound . Ron’s Knik Glacier Views is a brand-new private guest suite with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and River. Includes 120-acres of Alaskan wilderness with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room, sleeps 6. The accommodations include a walk out, wrap-around balcony. The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft. We are in a quiet and safe neighborhood and have free dedicated parking for our guests. Literally 5 minutes to the airport, 5 minutes to downtown and midtown Anchorage by car. We also provide two Bikes and Tennis equipment for your enjoyment during summer months.

Your private “sweet" is through the home's shared entry. The house is 5.1 miles from ANC airport (13 min by car or approx $20-$22 Uber/Lyft/taxi). Fred Meyer grocery is .7 mile away (15 min walk); Costco is 1.7 miles. Behind your interior “front door” is your Queen bed; TV room; kitchenette; and bathroom with tiled walk-in shower and the best backside feature ever: heated bidet toilet. I live and work upstairs. There's plenty of space for all.
