We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. From November through April there will be a three night minimum. You can walk/drive into Acadia National Park with access to hiking trails and the park loop road. Convenient walk to downtown, where you can access the free Island-wide bus system. Leave your car parked. NO PETS(due to allergies) & NO CHILDREN UNDER AGE 12, due to the layout and open staircases.

An awesome place to unwind with easy access for exploring mid coast and Downeast Maine. Less than 10 minutes to Rt 1 and The Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Rt 1A, 18 miles to Belfast, Castine, Blue Hill, Ellsworth. About an hour to Acadia NP and 45 min to Bangor. Great views of the land, river and wildlife.

"The Lair" Guesthouse

"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.
