This is the actual caboose from the Harrison Ford train wreck in The Fugitive. P&WV #839 rode the rails, starred in a blockbuster, and now you can sleep in it. Downtown Bryson City is less than a 10-minute walk: restaurants, breweries, and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Four twin bunks, a full bathroom, a kitchenette, and a private deck. The Little Red Caboose is an icon of many childhood stories and of simpler times gone by. This 1948 train has been set back on tracks atop an old railroad line. The largest of Hideaway's five trains at 31 feet, it sits at the place of honor at the end of the line.
