The Red Door Carriage house is a historic 90 year-old structure that was the carriage house for the original farmhouse (our home) on the property. Located in beautiful West Roxbury Mass., the unit is 3 miles from Fenway (Red Sox), Longwood Medical Center (all of the major hospitals) and 2 miles from Boston College. A 5 minute walk to the West Roxbury commuter rail station (10 minutes to South Station) and all bus lines into Boston, this apartment is a spectacular private and tranquil retreat.

The house is conveniently located 15-20 mins from downtown and 25 mins from the airport by taxi. There is a train and bus stations close by and there are lots of restaurants and stores (whole foods has everything) in a walking distance. There is a driveway parking that fits 3 cars. The house offers 7 sleeping places (4 bedrooms) which is perfect for families and groups however there is no living room. Great place to stay with dogs as there is a backyard and lots of walking options.

If you don't want to drive to downtown Boston . 2 minutes’ walk from the house to take buses to orange T line to bring you to down town Boston . The T station ( forest hill station ) is less than 1.3 miles from my house . Uber is another option to bring you to the T station too . Easy excess to Highway . Very quiet and safe neighborhood . Very private backyard.
