It has stunning views of Mount Wellington, the city of Hobart and beyond to the Derwent River. It is a seven minute drive to the waterfront, Salamanca or North Hobart. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Rose's Boutique Apartment

A sophisticated and private apartment with an art gallery feel that is very light and well equipped. Views of the bridge from upstairs and close to the riverside walking track. 7 min drive from the CBD. There is a small table within the lounge-room space since there is not a separate dining area in the kitchen. The apartment is ideal for 2 but will accommodate 3 since there is a double bed in the second bedroom but limited storage. There is a childproof gate at the bottom of the stairs.

Inner city oasis

The modern studio is nestled in a luxurious garden providing a sense of serenity at the rear of our 130-year-old heritage house. Warm up next to the wood-fire after a short stroll to the local restaurants, bars and cafes located in North Hobart. Situated within 1.9km of the CBD and 2.8km to Salamanca waterfront, there is a bus stop at the end of the street. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge are provided for your convenience, as well as a BBQ on your private deck.

Red Chapel Retreat

This is an architecturally designed dwelling, completed in February 2018. The accommodation provides a beautiful and unique place to stay for those wishing to visit Tasmania. Situated amongst the stunning suburb of Sandy Bay, you will be 5 to 10 minutes drive from Hobart City, historic Salamanca and Battery Point. As soon as you walk through the large tas oak front door, you are rewarded with views of the River Derwent, Wrest Point, Tasman Bridge and stunning Kunanyi/Mt Wellington.

Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. "The Cave" is a stylish and unique self-contained apartment under my centrally located 1885 West Hobart home. It is a 15 minute walk to the city centre and a short walk to the Elizabeth Street North Hobart cafe strip. With the stairs to the entry and the bed in a raised platform "nook", "The Cave" may not be for everyone, but if you're looking for well located lodgings that ooze atmosphere I think you'll love it!
