There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. We offer comfortable, luxurious, clean accommodation, warm, friendly and welcoming service. Although the cottage is self catering, the Whistling Bridge Cafe is open from 7am to 4pm and offers delicious breakfast and lunch menu options.

Tuinhuis, at Doornkraal

On the farm Doornkraal near the town of De Rust in the Klein Karoo, this Edwardian-style cottage is built in the tranquil shade of a 100 year old oak, with delightful views of the main house, an impressive Ostrich Palace constructed in 1914. This totally private cottage consists of 2 en suite bedrooms. Included is bottle of wine adn some firewood. The farm is easily accessible by tarred road, about 5 minutes from De Rust.

Two-bedroom stone cottage. Well-equipped kitchen with gas burner, microwave, and fridge. Lovely inside and outside braai on the stoep. The first room has a double bed and the second bedroom have two single beds. Panel heaters, electric blankets, feather duvets. some memories at this unique and family-friendly place.
