Jupiter Main Tent on Planet Earth # KarooDroom

The luxury tents provide you both house and camping all in one! Jupiter, our main tent is the first, with a queen size bed and a bunker bed and bedding. Each tent has its own hot tub (included in the price with enough firelighters and wood) , 1 bathroom with shower and all the kitchen requirements you need for your stay. With a deck overlooking the Klein Swartberg mountains and 2 dams, you can enjoy a glass of wine as the evening set upon you. Bring your telescope for the clear night skies.

Shepherd's Cottage

Far from roads, noise, and distraction, Shepherd’s Cottage is a private off-grid architectural retreat for guests who value space, silence, nature and refined design. Set within the De Aap Private Nature Reserve, 50km from Prince Albert, and bordering the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site, the cottage offers three king bedrooms, a secluded pool overlooking open veld, and an outdoor braai boma. Remote, considered, and intentionally curated, this is both a destination and a base to explore.

We provide a sincere and peaceful farm experience in a safe environment. The farm has lovely hiking trails through the gorgeous Karoo-veld and mountain bike trails on the quiet farm roads. Guests can enjoy picnics, swim in the plunge pool/ hot tub or in the farm dam, do some fishing or just relax while listening to the birds.

Kerneelia Farm Cottage, at Doornkraal

Luxury meets Karoo hospitality at Kerneelia, a quaint and secluded cottage with a wonderful mountain view on our Klein Karoo farm near De Rust. This romantic cottage is located on Doornkraal, a farm that has been in the loving hands of five generations of our Le Roux family. Come take in the fresh air and explore our farm on foot or bicycle. We also offer horseback riding, a great way to see the area and get to know our beloved horses. Included in rate: A bottle of wine, some fire wood.
