True Texas experience in the barn at a small ranch. See one of the biggest steers in the world at 13.5 long.. Stay in a luxurious loft in the barn constructed with whitewashed shiplap and rustic timbers. Big oversized windows and view the stables and pasture. The oversized cowboy bathtub is a converted water trough. This space features an open floor plan that includes 2 queen plus 1 twin size beds, a kitchenette and entertainment center. Enjoy a serene 10 acres all to yourself, nestled 15 minutes from Wimberley and Canyon Lake, 1 mile off of the scenic Devil's Backbone highway. The Haybale Cabin is truly a retreat away from the city and the routine, yet a short drive to restaurants and the scenic attractions of the hill country. It has amazing views down the canyon from the outside fire pit, and the cabin’s eco hay bale construction is unique and keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Located less than 2 minutes from more than 10 incredible wineries, a quick 8 minutes to Johnson City, or 20 minutes to Fredericksburg, this cabin is remote yet convenient.

The Stillhouse marina is located a few miles away. There they have fishing, dinning, and boat rentals. Scuba Divers Paradise offers scuba lessons at the marina as well. We also have parking available for a boat trailer at the house. Three kayaks available to you at the house
