The view! Our peaceful suite has everything you need to enjoy your time with us including an amazing view of the lake. It has a full kitchen, TINY bathroom and laundry. It’s close to a LOT of outdoor activities: swimming, boating, river rafting/kayaking, golfing, zip lining, biking, hiking, and walking. The suite is 15 minutes to Carowinds Amusement park, 25 minutes to Charlotte, NC or CLT Airport. An easy drive to big city attractions. At days end, relax and enjoy dinner or wine by the lake!

Welcome to The Tacklebox. This cabin has all you need for a perfect getaway on a relaxed working farm. Perfect for a party of three or a nice romantic stay. The cabin is rustic with all the amenities you’ll need! The farm is a 125 acres with 3 stocked ponds. Bring a fishing rod and try your luck at catch and release fishing. You will have the opportunity to see many animals on the farm including dogs. Your dogs are welcome too for an additional fee. We also have horseback riding for a fee.

If you are looking for a country feel and a lot of active opportunities while still being in the CITY this is the place for you. We are walking (or biking) distance from Veteran's Park offering tennis, hiking trails, sand volleyball, soccer and a wonderful playground for the kids. You can also fish on the property (catch and release), firepit/ grill out, ax throwing, corn hole and kayak or canoe on the pond!
