Our country home is nestled in a peaceful wooded area overlooking Lake Champlain and the VT Green Mtns . The 900 sq ft Loft is private and welcoming, with many thoughtful details for your comfort and total relaxation. Cuddle up with comfy chairs, cozy throws and an abundance of books and magazines. It is so quiet, and the beds so comfortable, that a restful night's sleep is almost a guarantee. Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing opportunities abound with water access close-by. Very kid-friendly.

Our family cottage around Lake Champlain offers the best view you can find in the area! Direct access to the lake with a private beach, a large dock, 2 kayaks and a large garden. The water is crystal clear and the view on the Green Mountains is breath taking. The area is full of nearby things to do: Adirondack Park, Ausable Chasm, White Face Mountain, Lake Placid, Plattsburgh, Burlington, small brewery and winery. The living space is located on the 2nd floor, with a play room on the 1st floor.

Close to many Champlain Valley attractions in Essex, NY in Adirondack Park (10 min. from VT ferry, 30 min. from High Peaks). Rustic, private retreat complete with outhouse, cook shelter, wood stove, fire pit, and on outdoor heated shower. Unplug & enjoy! (no Wifi, limited cell service).Cozy launching point for adventure!

The Brookside Cabin

Our Cabin is nestled in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains. The Cabin is behind our family home. We are on a country road close to two towns. Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

Located on the famous Ausable River. 20 minutes to Whifeface Mountiain or Plattsburgh and the Plattsburgh Airport. 10 minutes from the AuSable Chasm. This can be your resting point after spending a fun filled day in the Adirondacks. At this location you have the opportunity to walk down to the river to fish, paint or just sit and relax in the beautiful surroundings. You’re welcome to have an evening fire in our outdoors fire pit that can be set up for beautiful scenic views of the river.
