Wake to stunning mountain views from bed at Gentle Presence Cottages! This Cottage offers self-catering for 6 and has been lovingly decorated using a mixture of antiques and modern furnishings to make guests feel right at home. Built in the 1900’s as stables, this Cottage is one of the oldest buildings in Clarens and it's thought that farmers would arrive by ox-wagon before sharing Nagmaal (Holy Communion). There are 2 Cottages on the premises, set apart and with own entrances for privacy.

The Main House comprises of an open-plan living area which leads to a patio & braai. This beautiful selfcatering house is situated in the Eastern Free State in South Africa, 25km from Bethlehem, 10 km outside Clarens. (3.5 km dirt/ gravel road) The house is done in a true farmhouse, rustic style with a lovely interior and lots of atmosphere. Well suited for a big family or 2 or 3 couples. Lovely 360' views with a view on a dam and wild life like zebras, impalas and waterbucks grazing in the estate. A true beauty for nature lovers.

Platteland Holiday Home

Our holiday home features three bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and two double bed bedrooms, one bathroom in the main part of the house and an additional bathroom past the kitchen next to the office/study. Additionally, it boasts a semi-open plan kitchen, living room with large windows overlooking the conservancy and access to a generous patio. The house is located on the edge of Bester street right next to one of the walking trails and conservancy.
