Short drive to some of the best hikes in the country, the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood & the beautiful Oregon Coast.

Enjoy early check-in, late check-out, and low cleaning fees at our one bedroom apartment located in our early 1900s home in Downtown Vancouver. A few blocks from the freeway with entrances to Hwy 14 and I-5, this is the perfect stop on a road trip or visit. Our home is located within walking distance to beautiful Downtown Vancouver, including bars, restaurants, shopping and New Seasons grocery store. PLEASE NOTE: this is a small unit in a historic home that has had few updates (see photos).

The Overlook neighborhood is one of Portland's hidden gems. Quiet, tree lined, yet only a few minutes from all the action Portland serves up. Walk or ride to meals, brewpubs or shopping in the Mississippi and Williams districts. Hop a train (three blocks away) to downtown or The Pearl District. Or to unwind, walk to Overlook or Mocks Crest parks for sweeping views of downtown Portland, Forest Park and the Willamette River. Please read on to see if this space is the right fit for you.

Basement Dwelling

This basement efficiency apartment has its own entrance off the driveway next to the sidewalk and has everything you might need to be comfortable. The ceiling is not that high so I recommend it for people under 6'2". My family including a dog and cats live in the house above so you might hear us but they don’t have access to the apt. Gas and/or electric heat that you control, smart TV and recliner that will stand you up. I do allow animals if you pay the $20 pet fee and see rules.
