Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends and families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. A luxurious hot tub (perfect after a hard days hike) and an outdoor wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower are available at an extra cost. Art classes and a tuck shop available.

Our house is close to the centre of Coniston village, 2 mins walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and a short stroll down to the lake. The house has quality furniture and fittings, we've taken time over everything, the wood burning stove, comfy beds and the modern well equipped kitchen. There's beautiful landscapes throughout and some unique leaded glass by Sarah Lace. You can leave the car and walk everywhere if you wish. Our house is good for couples, families and one well behaved dog.

It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms
