Our 1926 cottage is a secret zen retreat! It is nestled in the hills below Topanga and surrounded by sounds of nature & lovely views. Every guest seems to find a spot to fall in love with! Retreat offers a spacious cafe style lit deck with amazing views, succulent garden, gorgeous deck off main suite w/ vast views, a calming study to read in & a tranquil meditation style loft. The newly renovated kitchen creates an amazing culinary experience. Steps away from hiking trails & minutes from PCH.

Orchard House Retreat

(Feb 2025- The Topanga village and homes were spared from the Palisades fire) Welcome to Orchard House Retreat! This 700 sqft private house is in an ancient oak forest in Topanga Canyon near Topanga State Park, the village and the beach! It’s a charming 1 bedroom 1 bath with a cozy living/dining space, modern kitchen and a deck. There’s a well stocked kitchen and orchard. Please note there are two sets of stairs up to the Retreat so being able to climb stairs is necessary. Please see photos.

Entire 2nd floor (steps) 500+400 sq ft deck 2BR 1 BA 3 deck cottage 5 km/3 mi from downtown. 4 guests (5 is tight) with 1 queen, 1 double, 1 single & a daybed. I have 2 Labradors, so dog lovers are WELCOME! We do allow limited use of our laundry - ask. The full kitchen, desk, fiber internet, computer, 2 streaming TVs, a gas fireplace, but THIS IS NOT a MJ Vacation/party house! Noise limits start at 10 pm/no very young children. READ further below. I live in the studio on the first floor.

The tree-shaded bedroom has cork floors for quiet comfort and a sliding wood panel door. The bathroom has a shower with floor to ceiling frosted windows, and there is a private rear deck. Gracious Historical Cottage on Tranquil Estate

Welcome to the historic Markham Estate Manor, built in 1897 and located in the heart of Pasadena. Nestled just off Orange Grove Boulevard —famously known as Millionaire’s Row and along the iconic Rose Parade route—our property is central to Old Town Pasadena, the Huntington Library, the Gamble House, and offers convenient access to Southern California attractions. The property includes the Main House, where I reside, and a charming, stand-alone cottage for guests.

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.
