Camping on a private island in the Kawarthas

Campout on your very own private island in the Kawarthas. Great for swimming, fishing, and enjoying nature. 14 foot aluminum boat provided, no motor...but it's only about 150 ft from our dock on shore to our dock on the island. Boat traffic on the Trent can be a little busier on weekends, so there could be the odd wave which could make it difficult for swimming with or even fun for children. Always wear proper PFD Weekend noise from the trailer park can sometimes go into the night past midnight.

For the extra hot days the water is refreshing and weed free. The cottage has two A/C units to keep you cool on the hottest days. The floating island is great for the kids to swim to and have hours of fun splashing in the water or great for tanning. Lots of water toys to play with and be entertained and explore. The Lakeland Loft is situated on a peaceful one acre property with over 200 feet of shore line and surrounded by forest and walking trails. This property is minutes from the Bobcaygeon Lock by road or boat. The loft is located on the second story of a self contained building and has a private entrance. The Loft has been totally renovated for use by guests and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. There is a dock for guest use. A public boat launch is about 5 minutes away.

Our place is on the Trent Severn Waterways and near down town shopping. Great for biking,kyaking, pubs and restaurants. Our suite is equipped with one bedroom with fireplace ,TV and ensuite with jacuzzi. There is a kitchen and dining area, living room with TV and fireplace. Free Wifi. There is also laundry facilities, Hot tub ,sauna and outside patio with propane fire pit and barbecue, all for your private use. We are setup for a couple and our amenities are for our guests only .

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.
