The Coach House | A Cottage & Garden By The Sea

Welcome to the Coach House – an 1830s listed mews cottage on a historic square right by the beach and on the edge of Margate’s Old Town. This is a central, cocooning and calming retreat, whether you're sightseeing or beachcombing. Walk 10 seconds to see the sea, 5 minutes and you're on the sand, or 1 second to sit in the garden. We've furnished the home slowly, with mid-century treasures, contemporary pieces, and a few Georgian antiques as a nod to the building's beginnings.

This recently renovated townhouse is spread over four storeys and features generously sized living areas plus a private courtyard garden at the back of the property. The house accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms, each with windows overlooking historic Trinity Square or the rear garden. Trinity Square is situated in Margate Old Town, a perfect location for Margate's boutiques and restaurants and only a 5 minute stroll from the Turner Gallery and the seafront.

A stylish, laid back retreat minutes from the sea. With the option of enjoying a relaxing sauna and invigorating cold plunge which is paid for separately. Alba Lodge is a light, airy, double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed and freshen up in the large walk in shower. The kitchen is a reclaimed carpenter's bench equipped with all the essentials. The sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

Rest assured Nick holds a Level Three qualification in pool plant operation so we know to make sure the pool is always clean and healthy.
