Welcome to our mountain getaway cottage! Barberry Cottage is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. It is located only 32 mins/22 miles from Kings Canyon National Park where you can enjoy walking among the majestic giant sequoias of General Grant Grove, relaxing at Hume Lake, or adventuring in Boyden Cavern. The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

We're excited to host you at our River Retreat Home. This home is tucked away on a quiet road where you can truly play, relax and recharge. You will find a beautiful trail that lead you to our picturesque river with endless boulders! There you will find two large decks. The home gives you amazing sunrises and sunsets. Our hope is that you love all part of your stay from the quiet stillness of the trees, to animals/bird watching, to enjoying and playing in the river and stargazing at the open sky

Enjoy a stay on our 380 acre private ranch that shares a property line with Sequoia National Park. The ranch is located just minutes away from the park entrance! The ranch has plenty of private outdoor space to explore including over a mile of the Kaweah River, one of the only deep water swimming areas around, ponds, and, a 60 ft waterfall. Our property is great for the hiking, bird watching, swimming, or fishing enthusiast! A map of the land and its features will be provided upon arrival.

Come enjoy the original farmhouse, located at the entrance to our 8 acre oasis in the quaint town of Exeter, Ca. Our property includes the farmhouse, the main house (where the owners live), a barn and a beautiful one acre pond located just a short walk down the dirt road from the farmhouse. Enjoy anniversaries, friend trips and family time away from the city. If you decide to leave the tranquility of our pond, you can visit Lake Kaweah, Three Rivers, Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Park.

Enjoy coffee and fresh eggs, and while you watch the pigs and chickens graze below.

The river is a short walk away and Lake Success is nearby. We are 2 hours from two different Sequoia National Parks. Bring your horses as we have a place for them to stay.
