With attention to detail, and perfectly located in center of town (across from Escalante Outfitters*), it's ideal for being "outward bound from the heart of town".. or a peaceful place for a scenic getaway. Also includes two fold-out couches, and a "Jacuzzi" jetted tub. Note: almost everything is closed on Sundays, except Escalante Outfitters open until 9pm.

Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

40 Acre Escalante Canyon Retreat

This river front home tucked in between large cottonwood shade trees with views on all sides of the Escalante Canyon, meadows, cliffs, and river. Hike from the front door to first class scenic wonders. There are natural wonders right out the front door and within an hour's drive. Look for deer and wild turkey in the meadow in the mornings and evenings and watch the cloud shadows change over the canyon walls. Head up or down the canyon into rugged wilderness, and return home to comfort.

Our central air will keep you cool and comfortable while you cook dinner in our fully furnished kitchen or you may use the BBQ on the back patio. After dinner you can hang out around the fire pit in the backyard roasting marshmallows, play one of many board games available, or just chill and watch TV in the living room or one of our comfortable bedrooms.

Southwest Retreat

The house has wonderful views, is peaceful and comfortable. It is located on the edge of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and is centrally located with easy access to hiking, biking, and exploring. Southwestern Retreat is just a few blocks off Highway 12, an All American Highway, and is located between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park. The house has a living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
