The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

With most of the rooms fully decked out in wood, we have created a log cabin feel within one of our gardens; parking for one car. Main bedroom has king bed with en-suite and the second can have either two SMALL singles or a standard double with very limited space. Fully-equipped kitchen with dining table and four chairs and bathroom with good sized, powerful shower. Own private HotTub on request. £65 first night then £10/night - 16+ only. 🏳️‍🌈 friendly. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
