Spacious Home Minutes from Penn Nat. Golf Course

We are located minutes from Penn National Golf Course, Caledonia Golf Course and State Park, the Appalachian Trail, shopping and restaurants. Gettysburg, PA is a 30 min. drive away and DC is less than 2 hours from us. There are several ski resorts close by as well. We live out of town and settle in this home when we are in the area for a few weeks each year. We have attempted to make this space a home for ourselves that you will enjoy as well. Our daughter will be your host for your stay.

Antietam Toll House~an historic waterfront cabin

The Antietam Toll House (@antietamtollhouse) is a renovated historic property circa 1800. Sitting on the bank-head of the Antietam stream, this cabin has it's own private fishing hole. Secluded, yet close to amenities and attractions, this property is the perfect place for an artist retreat, respite from the city or a base from which to explore local gems of the area. Wineries, Appalachian Trail, Antietam, Gettysburg battlefields, Ski Liberty, Catoctin , Cunningham Falls and more nearby.

Legacy Bridge Farmhouse

This cozy farmhouse was built in the 1800's and has been completely remodeled. The house is completely furnished and the large kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. The house sits on a beautiful farm property. There is a stream that runs through the property and there is a beautiful view from the back porch. It is located 10 minutes from Shippensburg and Chambersburg. It is also about 30 minutes from Gettysburg Battlefield. Whitetail, Ski Liberty Resort, and Roundtop are all within an hour.

Claire House on the Creek

Claire House is a renovated home on the banks of Middle Spring Creek. Its restored open porch and balcony over look the cool spring waters as they meander past the property and under the wooden foot bridge. An old pavilion with a rustic table and benches, along with a fire pit, sit close by. In the spring, the creek is stocked with trout for the fishing enthusiasts. Shippensburg University and the Luhrs Center are less than 2 miles away as are numerous eateries and shopping experiences.

The Resting Place

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway in a small town nestled in the valley of the Appalachian mountains. Ten minutes from turnpike Exit 180 - Fort Littleton/McConnellsburg. This little haven is close to a great fishing spot at Meadow Grounds State Park lake. Hiking at Cowens Gap State Park. And Buchanan's Birthplace State Park not far away. You can relax as you watch the sunset for one of the two overlooks on neighboring mountains. Come and enjoy it for yourself!

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

Homestead, a serene organic farm minutes off I81.

Visit the Homestead, just a few miles off I-81 in Chambersburg. The serene landscape offers fresh air and open space. This historic home on 130 acres of farmland presents bed/bathrooms on the first and second levels and relaxing living space for all guests. Multiple work areas are equipped to offer you a desk and comfortable chair - boasting picturesque scenes. A large bright room, seating 35 attendees, is also available for hosting special events.

Village Homestead-Whitetail, Cowans Gap, Academy

Comfortable, vintage two-story frame home nestled in the village of Lemasters—a quiet, country community with a lovely view of the Tuscarora mountains. Close to Whitetail Ski/Golf Resort, Cowans Gap, and minutes from the historic town of Mercersburg and the Mercersburg Academy. The large backyard has a patio and is completely enclosed with a fence. Single-family, detached home—wonderful for a family gathering. WiFi available. Pet friendly.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.

Bedrock Cottage is a cozy mountaintop home-away-from-home surrounded by nature. The cottage sits on 2 wooded acres just 4 miles from JLG, 11 miles from Mercersburg Academy, and 6 miles from Cowan's Gap State Park. Fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle-boats, picnicking, hiking and more are available at the Park. We are also just 6 miles from the Goldfish Barn Event Center and 18 miles from Whitetail Ski Resort

Whether its historical sight-seeing, culturally diverse restaurants, or local craft beer, there is plenty to see and do in this area. Built in 2021, this apartment is on the lower level of our custom built home. It also has a fully equipped gym. Pet friendly, No smoking, No parties.
