Our Hacienda sits on 40 Acres of land that was once one of the areas original Coffee plantations. Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. La propiedad cuenta con proximidad a supermercados, restaurantes, centro de salud y estación de servicio, además de acceso directo a calle asfaltada. A 6 minutos se ubican COSEVI la estación donde se realiza las pruebas de manejo y la terminal de Tracopa(Buses). Ofrecemos amplio estacionamiento para dos vehículos.

The salt water pool (with a bit of chlorine) is a great place to cool off. The area is quiet, and near the end of a private road. A 4x4 is recommended, especially during the rainy season. Beyond surfing, there's great fishing, whale watching, horseback riding, markets, waterfalls, river floating, boat tours, mountain biking, plus a whole lot more!

We are a full old-school BnB with traditional Tico breakfast included (& other meals available for purchase). Our two cabins share a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.
