Nestled just outside of Austin, in San Marcos, TX, our property offers a unique camping experience with trails surrounded by nature and friendly farm animals. There is an outhouse for washing hands and a compost toilet. There is a water hose to rinse off while camping. (Working on getting outdoor shower) You are providing the tent. Stay in a cozy, romantic glamping tent nestled in a peaceful wooded setting just minutes from Downtown New Braunfels. The tent features a memory foam queen mattress, propane heater, solar power, and LED lighting. Outside, a fire pit/grill, hammock, and a shared bathhouse with heat, AC, shower, tub, sink, and coffee station. Paddleboards & kayaks for rent, treehouse, & nature trail make this the perfect escape for relaxation or adventure. Property is shared with Airstream rental.

Salvage Texas has tent camping! We can even supply the tent for an additional fee! You bring your sleeping bag/cots or bedding. We have several camping spots near our community bath house, as well as various primitive camping spots throughout the property. There is a large fire pit where guests may enjoy a fire or cook their meals. We are just 1/2 mile from a beautiful swimming hole on the San Marcos River, & just 4 miles from Palmetto State Park

Elevated Couples Tent Suite

Our elevated tent suite is perfect for couples looking for an opportunity to disconnect from the busy and enjoy the Texas landscape. Our tent features 400 square feet of living space built on a 1,000 square foot wrap-around private deck, a king-size bed, a mini-split A/C and heater, an ensuite bathroom with a shower and soaking tub, and a small living area with two leather chairs.
