Dive into the Grand Lodge’s on-site amenities: hot tub, pool, gym, and steam room. Unwind by the fireplace in the lobby. You’ll be perfectly situated in Mountaineer Square: steps from the lifts and adjacent to the free shuttle that gets you to Elk Ave in 10 minutes. We are dog-friendly with payment of a $130 pet fee. Two dogs maximum.

Sweetgrass Paonia - #1 Private Room & Bath

Enjoy this centrally-located private room at the end of Grand Avenue in Down Town Paonia. Walk to local restaurants, shopping, the Paradise Theatre, & visit Sweetgrass downstairs to get your morning coffee, breakfast, pastries, & lunch. Private bathroom & shower in room. DOG FRIENDLY for dogs 15lbs or less! Please specify in your request if you would like to bring your dog. Include: breed, age, & temperament. We do require a $100 deposit + $20/per night. Your dog must remain with you.

The Roosevelt

What a lovely space on one end of the Lodge! You can sit here and look down the valley at such beauty. The Hideaway was named after the Roosevelt Mine, which opened in 1907 after the gold and silver crash, reportedly closing in 1919 due to differences amongst the owners. Although it never operated commercially after that time, veins were pursued until the 1930’s. President Roosevelt actually visited Pitkin and stayed at the local hotel which is still in operation.

This luxurious, fully renovated room boasts views of Mount Massive from your bed! The room has a queen bed in the main area and a set of twin bunks in a bunk room for privacy. It's a great setup for small groups and families. Our kitchenette has everything you need to feel right at home: a dishwasher, hot plate, kettle, and a toaster oven big enough to cook a pizza! Please note, this room is on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs.
