Our horses, sheep, swans, ducks, chickens and miniature goats are here to greet you as well. This unique space will allow you to enjoy the beautiful outdoors during the day and a cozy warm space in the evenings. We offer a complementary breakfast for our guests. This house is perfect for people who want to relax and cook while they are in town. There is plenty of space (2,300 sq ft) to socialize and unwind with four large bedrooms.

Our beautiful 1850 settler's log cabin is simply furnished and does not have plumbing. Electricity is powered by a honda generator. Fresh drinking water is supplied. Bathroom is a clean, private outhouse and guests have access to our centralized guest shower facility on premises from 6-9 am/pm daily. As your Bed and Breakfast host we will personally greet you and check you in and always remain on property while offering you privacy. We are designed for a quiet, peaceful rustic getaway.

You will have access to our tennis court, swimming pool, hot tub, gazebo, pond, garden and woodland trails. Adults are welcome to use the exercise studio. There is a flock of heritage chickens, guinea hens and quail who lay beautiful eggs for your breakfast. We also have bees who produce delicious honey for our guests.

Somerset Cottage at West Avenue Cider House

Welcome to West Avenue Cider! During Summer 2018 we renovated an existing outbuilding on the property into a 3 bedroom cottage for guests who are visiting the Cider House and who are visiting the Hamilton area. It’s light filled and spacious and we hope you will get to spend some time with us. The cidery can be a busy spot on weekends during the summer and fall, less busy for our winter guests.
